Randwick Yoga Space

Randwick Yoga Space welcomes everyone! All levels of fitness and physical ability, all ages and all those who are brand new to yoga and all who have a more experienced yoga practice. There are many studios around these days where you can go and do a  quick yoga class, here at Randwick Yoga Space we invite you to come and learn the practice of yoga. All our teachers are highly qualified, and are dedicated practitioners of yoga and meditation who wish to share their joy and knowledge of the practice with the students.

The BEGINNERS classes are where you will learn all the foundations of the postures, breath and philosophy of yoga. These classes give students the knowledge and confidence to progress into the hatha and vinyasa classes.

The VINYASA classes are a flowing and often dynamic practice, to get energy moving through the body/mind and to help you stay focused by linking every posture into the breath. All levels can attend the Vinyasa classes as your teacher will always give the gentle and stronger variations of postures, so new students can take their time to build into the practice and rest in childs pose as often as needed, while more experienced students can flow through a strong vinyasa sequence.

The HATHA classes are a slower pace that focus on correct alignment and deepening into the postures through the breath, which also builds a lot of strength in the body, and mind. For newer students these classes help you to understand the correct alignment and meditation aspect of the poses, as well as the way the yoga postures move energy through the body and take us into a place of meditation. For more experienced students, these classes take you  much deeper into your postures as they are held for longer.

The RESTORATIVE classes are very gentle and supportive. We do only a handful of postures in each class, most of which use different props to support the body into relaxing and releasing, this calms the mind and takes the students into a state of deep relaxation. The restorative practice is very nurturing and is perfect for students suffering from illness or injury, stress, depression and anxiety and those who simply want some time to relax and rejuvenate.
